Five on Friday - Beauty Products I'm Loving

Hey there! Remember me? That blogger who never blogs anymore? I think it’s safe to say that life has been a little busy, maybe at times overwhelming lately. Between Lilly, house chores, the flower shop, traveling, and Instagram (yes I’m always on there) I have let the  blogging fall away. I also lost a little bit, okay maybe all of my umph to keep up with the writing. Don’t get me wrong, I love my blog, and I’m proud of where I’ve taken this. But when you’re in the blogger world it can feel a little competitive, it can be a lot overwhelming. And I definitely let that get to me. I love the reason I actually started the blog, and that was for ME. No one else. I of course love you all, whoever is still reading. But I just lost my love for doing the blog for me. But now as I type this, it feels really good to write again. Even if it is a silly little post. So here’s hoping that the next few months I get back into the swing of things, that I am on the blog more instead of just Instagram, and here is hoping I write all of the posts I have been putting off, or ones I’m afraid to write.

Okay, enough with the silly shit chat, and onto the more fun stuff. I used to do a 5 on Friday every week, so that’s what I’m bringing back to you today. I am always looking for products that will help me, make me feel beautiful, save me time, or that I just love and recently I have found 5 that I’m using constantly. Some I just happened upon, others were recommended, and one was something I fell in love with through work. So without further ado, here are my current beauty favorites!

Love Beauty and Planet Murumuru Butter and Rose Body Wash - I like to try and stay away from a ton of chemicals, so when I was wandering through Target and saw this product on the end of the aisle. I was immediately drawn to the packaging, yes I judged the book by it’s cover, but I cannot be more happy I did. I love the smell of roses, anything floral is fabulous for me. So this had me at first scent (insert laughing emoji here). It is also highly moisturizing which is perfect in my world!

Love Beauty and Planet Murumuru Sugar and Rose and Creamy Body Scrub -  Since I’m an impulse buyer I couldn’t only buy the body wash, I had to try the scrub too. In this Colorado climate my skin is constantly in need of a good exfoliation with all it’s dryness. I have used it almost every day since I bought it and I cannot rave about it enough!

Say Yes To Grapefruit Facial Scrub - Yes another scrub, but this one is for the face, I probably exfoliate my face more than I should but I just love the way this scrub makes my skin feel. It’s invigorating grapefruit scent is wonderful in the morning, and it really brightens up my skin. I feel like I’m glowing after I use it.

Energizing Papaya Cleanser with Salicylic Acid - You might remember that I wrote about Pamela Metamorphosis before, they are a local company here in CO who specialize in skin care. But ever since I was gifted this cleanser, I use it whenever my skin is in need of some deep cleaning. I constantly get blackheads and acne on my chin especially at that time of the month. I use this cleanser to help clear all that up and it works like a charm!

Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer - Ya’ll I have A LOT of hair, and you may have noticed that I’m wearing my hair in a messy bun 90% of the time, the major reason for this? I hate drying my hair! It takes me no less than 40 minutes to dry it and it’s just plain exhausting. But One of my girlfriends on Insta was using this lovely little tool in her stories and I knew I had to get it, and I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase! Not only do I not need a brush and a hair dryer, but I can get volume and curl all while drying my hair in 20 minutes! It’s the ultimate time saving tool in my world. Seriously, go buy this beauty!
