Girls Night Party Boxes

Happy Friday everyone! We made it through another week, and I’m so glad it’s the weekend. I have a good one planned. But can we talk about girls night out for a moment? The longed for night when the ladies get to dress up, go out with their girlfriends and get dinner, wine, and some adult time. Those nights are amazing, and few and far between in my world. What with scheduling conflicts, kids, work, life, events… it can all make it so hard to make these nights happen. Which makes them so much more special and appreciated when the stars do align and we can all get together!

Tonight I am going out with my girls, me and all 8 of my best girlfriends. Some of which I’ve known for over 10 years now. We’re going to dinner at a new restaurant that was just opened by the (new) boyfriend of one of my oldest friends. So not only do we get to spend time together, we got to meet the new boyfriend! I couldn’t be more excited. It’s been a tough two weeks for me with some family happenings and just a general feeling of being buried by to-do’s. It can be so easy to get caught up in life, to be overwhelmed with tasks you can easily forget about yourself, let alone your friends. I am more than able to admit this, some of my girl friends, especially the non-mommy ones I haven’t seen in months and that kills me. These girls are all so important to me and such a part of my life, my story, that I know I need to get better about taking time for them and our relationships.

Because I was so excited about tonight, I wanted to do something fun and simple for them. Something to say I love you and let’s have fun! So I decided to make a little girls night goody box! It took me a while to think about what to put in it, I wanted to keep the cost down but still make it fun and easy!

What you’ll need:

Party boxes (I got mine from Jamboree Style)

Paper shred

Wine spritzer

Straws (I got these at Jamboree as well)
